In game 2 of the double header against the Durand Railroaders the Indians had to battle to get the win 18-11. The game went back and forth the entire time but a strong 5th inning allowed us to plate 7 runs to build a lead going into the bottom of the last inning. 

C. Warner: 1 HOMERUN, 2 singles, 5 RBI's, 3 runs scored, 2 stolen bases

E. Kenny: 1 triple, 1 single, 4 stolen bases, 4 runs scored

E. Losey: 1 double, 1 single, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base

M. Ball: 1 single, 1 RBI, 1 run scored

L. Schnieder: 1 single, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 2 stolen bases

A. Knollinger: 2 RBI, 2 run scored, 2 stolen bases

J. Rodriguez: 2 runs scored, 1 stolen bases

M. Sumbrea: 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, 2 stolen bases

Elisse Losey started the game pitching 1 inning striking out 2, and Marissa Ball came in for relief pitching 4 innings facing 17 and striking out 9

I was very proud of the girls performance at the end of the game and how they held their ground to get the win tonight!

The Indians are 12-4 on the season (3-1 in MMAC)

The Indians will round out their season Thursday May 15th home against conference foe Ovid Elsie.
