For the first time since the 2017 season the Chesaning Indians are State Champions in Track and Field. Chesaning had a strong season, and went into the finals as a team capable of pulling off the win, but it was going to take a complete team effort. 9 different athletes contributed points in the finals to earn an incredible 57 points on the day, beating the 2nd place team of Pewamo-Westphalia by over 20 points. Chesaning (57 points), Pewamo-Westphalia (34), Reed City (33), Lawton (32), and Hart (29) comprised the top five team finishes.
