The Boys Track & Field team continued the fast start to the season in the Corunna True Team Classic on Friday, taking the top spot overall regardless of division. Unlike a traditional invitational, the true team format tests both the strength and depth of a team with all finishers scoring points for the team. Chesaning’s 1194 points paced the field, with Corunna’s 1112 points and Chelsea’s 1014 points rounding out the top 3 teams. Chesaning was thrilled to have Senior Eric Barancik added to the list of MHSAA Early State Qualifiers with his 6’ 4” jump in high jump.
