The Chesaning Indian Boys Varsity Golf Team competed against the Mt. Morris Panthers at Twin Brooks Golf Club on Monday, April 28 in an MMAC dual meet 9-hole event. The Indians earned the victory by a final score of 158-249. The meet marked the Indians lowest 9-hole round of the season and moved the team to 5-0 in MMAC conference play. Sophomore Luke Skaryd continued his solid stretch of golf by finishing with a 2-under par 34 for the round. Skaryd birdied holes 1, 3, and 8. His only bogey was on hole 5. Skaryd also nearly aced the 326 yard par-4 hole #3, where his tee shot rolled past the pin leaving a 12-foot putt for eagle. Charlie Clover and Will Pierce each carded 41 for the Indians. Justin Lange shot 42, Quinton Everett finished with a 43, and Porter Greenfelder rounded out the scoring with a 46.
