Chesaning defeated Ithaca 2-0 in game 2. The teams had agreed to play a six inning game and then the game was called due to lightning with Chesaning batting in the bottom of the fourth inning. The score was tied 0-0 going into the bottom of the fourth before the Indians scored 2 runs to win the game. Max Volk led the inning off reaching on an error and Volk scored on a double by Adam Woodcock. Woodcock then scored on two wild pitches to give Chesaning a 2-0 lead. Eli Keck started on the mound for the Indians and pitched four innings while only giving up one hit, two walks, zero runs while striking out 4 batters. With the win Keck improves to 4-0 on the season. With the win Chesaning improves to 22-6 and 12-0 in the MMAC. Chesaning travels to Ovid-Elsie on Thursday, May 15 for an MMAC double header.
