On Saturday, May 3 Chesaning played the Montrose Rams in game 1 of the Birch Run Baseball Invitational and the Indians came away with a 13-3 win. Luke Barta earned his first win of the season on the mound. Barta gave up four hits, three runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking three. Chesaning collected 11 hits in the game and were led by Barta with three hits and Jacob Zyrowski with two hits. Brady Sager, Max Volk and Zyrowski each drove in two runs for the Indians. 

With the win Chesaning improves to 16-3 on the season.
