Chesaning defeated the Birch Run Panthers 15-0 in 4 innings in game 1 of a Mid Michigan Activities Conference doubleheader. Brady Sager took the mound for the Indians and threw a no-hitter while facing the minimum of 12 batters in the 4 innings. The lone Panther base runner reached on an error in the top of the 3rd inning, but that base runner was quickly erased when the Indians turned a double play on the next pitch. Sager also struck out 7 Panther batters while improving his record to 2-0 on the season. Chesaning collected 10 hits on their way to scoring 15 runs. Chesaning took the early lead by scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning, then added 4 runs in the 2nd inning, 3 runs in the 3rd inning and closed out the game by scoring 6 runs in the 4th inning.
