Despite trailing the Merrill Vandals 7-2 going into the bottom of the fourth inning, Chesaning came back to defeat the Vandals 13-7. The Indians flipped the game in the bottom of the fourth, scoring 8 runs on 7 hits to take a 10-7 lead. Chesaning then scored 3 more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to close the scoring and give the Indians a 13-7 win. The Indians knocked 16 hits in the game including a 4-4 performance by Eli Keck. Keighan Stoddard added 3 hits and Brady Sager, Adam Woodcock and Max Volk each collected 2 hits as well. Ethan Hinojosa started on the mound for the Indians and pitched 4 innings on his way to his first victory of the season. Luke Barta came in to pitch the last 3 innings and did not allow Merrill to score a run.
