Chesaning Boys Varsity Golf defeats Byron

The Chesaning Boys Varsity Golf team defeated Byron in a 9-hole match at Willow Brook Golf Club in Byron on Wednesday, May 1. The Indians once again overcame strong wind conditions to finished with a team score of 176, while Byron carded an overall team score of 220. Freshman Luke Skaryd led the Indians with a match low round of 40. Josh Lange was the match runner-up with a score of 42. Quinton Everett and Will Pierce both finished with 47. Also scoring for Chesaning were Brad Agnew with a 53 and Jake Cooper with a 55. With the victory the Indians improve to 6-0 in 9-hole dual matches on the season. The Indians are 4-0 in the MMAC conference and currently in 1st place.
